How To Fix Outlook Error 0x800CCC80

 
When you attempt to send email from Outlook, you receive the following error messsage: Error Message: 0x800CCC80 - None of the authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your server


 

Solution: Your outgoing mail server settings are wrong
 
1. Edit your account settings and tick the option “Log on to incoming server before sending mail”. To reach this option, go to your Outlook File menu -> Account Settings -> double click on your email account -> More Settings -> Outlook Server -> mark the option “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”, then mark the option “Log on to incoming server before sending mail”.
2. You can also try to use the “Repair” option available on your Account Settings window.
 3. You could also change your SMTP setting to your ISP mail server, this would usually authenticate using your ISP's IP Address
